DIC Stores Ltd. may acquire 100 percent of the share capital of Apparel Holdings Ltd.

Smith-Biolab Ltd. may acquire up to 100 percent of the share capital of Salmond and Spraggon Ltd.

Freightways Holdings Ltd., N.Z. Railways Corporation and Mogal Corporation Ltd. may acquire the assets of Chep Handling Systems Ltd. and its wholly owned subsidiaries Cheq Equipment Ltd. and Transport Container Pool Ltd.

Bendon Industries Ltd. may acquire 100 percent of the issued ordinary shares in the capital of John Webster and Co. Ltd.
