Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1987

Pursuant to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1987.

  2. This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of January 1987.

  3. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff item in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

  4. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff item in the Second Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of Australia, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

  5. The exemptions from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations, in respect of the classes of goods set forth in the Third Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, included in the exemption notices shown in the Third Schedule are hereby withdrawn.

  6. The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations, in respect of the classes of goods set forth in the Fourth Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of Australia, included in the exemption notice shown in the Fourth Schedule is hereby withdrawn.

(2) Tyres are listed to show the primary size designation as well as alternative markings. Size designations with letters e.g. R or RH, immediately in front of the rim diameter are alternative size markings.
(3) Tyre flaps are deemed to relate to the tyres concerned wherever applicable. |
