CNG Fuel System Approvals—continued
NOTE: The effect of this notice is to allow the continued use in New Zealand of CNG fuel cylinders imported prior to the change in maximum cylinder fill pressure from 16.5 MPa at 15°C to 20 MPa as notified in the New Zealand Gazette by the Chief Inspecting Engineer appointed under the Gas Act 1982 and also those cylinders marked with an asterisk in Schedule I having an original test pressure of 29.4 MPa.
The terms of this approval do not allow the continued use of cylinders marked with a test pressure of less than 30 MPa (minimum working pressure 20 MPa) and they cannot be accepted for periodic testing unless the date of manufacture marked on the cylinder is prior to 1 July 1986.
