Resumption of Duties by Governor-General
His Excellency the Governor-General announces that he returned from Antarctica at 1 p.m. on the 9th day of December and has resumed the performance of all the functions of the office of Governor-General.
Accordingly, the Right Honourable Sir Ronald Keith Davison, G.B.E., C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, who assumed office as the Administrator of the Government as from 2 p.m. on the 2nd day of December 1986, (as evidenced by a notice published in the *Gazette** and dated the 2nd day of December 1986), has relinquished office as the Administrator of the Government. (By Command.)
