Approval for Construction, Maintenance and Operation of Gas
Installations in Accordance with the System Description Entitled
“Flexigas”

PURSUANT to section 61 of the Gas Act 1982 and to regulation 37
of the Gas Industry Regulations 1984 approval is hereby given for
the construction, maintenance and operation of gas installations in
accordance with the system description entitled “Flexigas” and issued
by the Auckland Gas Company on 3 November 1986 subject to the
following conditions:

The work is carried out under a valid gasfitting permit issued by
the Auckland Gas Company.

The property in which the work is carried out is a single-unit
dwelling or an attached dwelling but not an accommodation
dwelling. For the purposes of this condition “single-unit
dwelling”, “attached dwelling” and “accommodation dwelling”
are as defined in Schedule 1.

The person upfitting the permit has completed, to the satisfaction
of the Auckland Gas Company, a familiarity course in the
Flexigas system.

SCHEDULE 1: INTERPRETATION

In the approval:

“Dwelling” means a building or part of a building designed for
or occupied exclusively as a residence of one household.

“Single-unit dwelling” means a dwelling which is structurally
separated from other dwellings.

“Attached dwelling” means a dwelling which is separated from
other dwellings by fire walls each of which has a 4 hour fire
resistance rating.

“Accommodation dwelling” means a residential building in
which accommodation is, or is intended to be, provided for
5 or more guests, boarders, lodgers, patients, or inmates and
includes a boardinghouse, hostel, hotel, hospital, home
orphanage, boarding school, barracks, lodging house, or
similar building and includes a portion of a building or
combination of 2 or more buildings or parts thereof.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional
Integration Act 1975, notice is given that integration agreements
have been signed between the Minister of Education and the
Proprietors of the following two schools:

John Paul College, Rotorua.
Catholic Cathedral College, Christchurch.

The said integration agreements came into effect on 1 October
and 7 October 1986 respectively. Copies of the integration
agreements are available for inspection without charge by any
member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office,
National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at
regional offices.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional
Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration
agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education

Sacred Heart College, Christchurch.
Xavier College, Christchurch.

Commerce Act 1986: Merger or Takeover Proposal

NOTICE is hereby given of the following determination made by the
Commerce Commission pursuant to section 67 (3) (a) of the
Commerce Act 1986.

Decision No. 179 (Ref. AUT/MTU - K1/2)

On 31 October 1986 the Commerce Commission determined to
give a clearance to a proposal already partly implemented whereby
Kupe Investments Ltd. may acquire up to 100 percent of the share
capital of Pacific Sundancer Holidays Ltd.

The full text of the determination is available for inspection at
the Commission’s offices at Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Copies may be purchased on application to the Commission, P.O.
