A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Most Reverend Sir Paul Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for Railway purposes.

Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations, and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Navy

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces.

ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY

The appointment of Lieutenant Commander A. V. Taylor is extended until 26 December 1989.

Lieutenant Commander Clive Paul Charles Calkin is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 1 September 1988, with effect from 2 September 1986.

The appointment of Lieutenant Commander B. A. Ward is extended until 13 July 1988.

Lieutenant Commander John Anthony Stokcs is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 15 October 1986.

Lieutenant Commander David Keith Washer is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 16 September 1990, with effect from 17 September 1986.

Chaplain Murray Charles Morgan (Anglican) is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 2 October 1990, with effect from 3 October 1986.

Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant Commander) Geoffrey David Honor is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 8 October 1990, with effect from 9 October 1986.
