Land Acquired, Together With the Benefit of Certain Rights, for a Pre-School Play Centre in Block II, Wairere Survey District, Piako County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, together with the benefit of right of way and drainage easements appurtenant thereto created by transfer H. 332050.5, South Auckland Land Registry, for a pre-school play centre and shall vest in the Crown on the 16th day of October 1986.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose reserve (cemetery), and further, declares the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Quarantine Island Cemetery.
