Amending a Notice Declaring Stopped Road to be Disposed of in
Block V, Wai-iti Survey District, Waimea County

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the
20th day of February 1986 and published in the New Zealand Gazette
of 27 February 1986, No. 26 at page 864 declaring stopped road to
be disposed of in Block V, Wai-iti Survey District, Waimea County
by omitting the preamble and substituting the following:

“Pursuant to section 117 of the Public Works Act 1981, the
Minister of Works and Development declares the stopped
road described in the Schedule hereto to be vested in Vivien
Andrew Barker of Stanley Brook, farmer subject to
memoranda of mortgage No. 192490.1 and 251177.4, Nelson
Land Registry.”

PURSUANT to section 116 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares the portion of road described
in the Schedule hereto to be stopped.

ALL that portion of road containing 28.7 perches, situated in Block
IV, Otanake Survey District, adjoining or passing through Pukenui

PURSUANT to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares the surface of the land described
in the Schedule hereto, together with the airspace above the said
surface and the subsoil down to a plane 15.24 metres below and
approximately parallel to the surface of the said land, to be road,
which, pursuant to section 11 (1) (a) of the National Roads Act 1953
shall form part of State Highway 1.
