EXPLANATORY NOTE: This exemption notice provides for exemption of:
(a) paper patterns;
(b) automotive transfers;
(c) certain automotive springs;
(d) automotive locks;
(e) certain parts of internal combustion vehicle engines;
(f) hydraulic steering pumps specially suited for motor vehicles;
(g) vacuum pumps suited for use with motor vehicles;
(h) automotive windscreen washers;
(i) taps, cocks and valves for motor vehicles other than engine valves;
(j) automotive rectifiers;
(k) heaters for motor vehicles of 87.01 to 87.03
(l) parts and accessories of unhardened vulcanised rubber or artificial plastic material, for motorcycles;
(m) amendments to existing exemptions to maintain alignment with the Customs Tariff, and to meet our obligations under the ANZCERT Agreement.
