The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Amendment Available for Comment
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated:
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 1880/A1 Draft Amendment No. 1 to NZS 1880:1964 Specification for replaceable sheathed immersion heating elements for portable water heating appliances. Gratis.
This draft amendment corrects typographical errors, and includes changes to provide for the same variety of connectors as proposed in clause 7 of DZ 733/A1 Electric jugs with non-metallic bodies. Dimensions remain imperial to ensure continued interchangeability of screw flertules.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 181–187 Victoria Street (formerly known as 15–23 Sturdee Street) or Private Bag, Wellington.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 30 April 1986.
