Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes
in Block IX, Waipukurau Survey District, Waipawa District

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes
and shall vest in The Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board on the 5th
day of February 1986.

ALL that piece of land containing 6404 square metres, situated in
Block IX, Waipukurau Survey District, being part Lot 2, D.P. 7543,

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby
classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic
reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves
Act 1977 and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter
be known as the Wainihinihi Scenic Reserve.

Classification of Parts of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands,
hereby classifies that part of the reserve, described in the First
Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve, and further, classifies
that part of the reserve, described in the Second Schedule hereto, as a
local purpose (site for a library) reserve, subject to the provisions
of the said Act.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands
hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Piako
County Council on the 18th day of November 1985.

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14
of the Reserves Act 1977, the Piako County Council hereby
resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in
fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be,
and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve
within the meaning of the said Act.”

Cancellation of the Vesting in The Waitomo District Council and
Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

revokes the reservation as a recreation over the land, described in
