His Excellency the Governor-General has announced that The Queen has been graciously pleased to approve the following awards of the Polar Medal for good services as members of New Zealand expeditions to Antarctica in recent years:

Declaring Land in South Auckland Land District, Vested in the Hamilton Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, The Most Reverend Sir Paul Alfred Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Hamilton Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—WAITOMO DISTRICT
6 square metres, more or less, being part Section 23, Block X, Orahiri Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1942, page 2429. Shown marked C on S.O. Plan 54074.
