EXPLANATORY NOTE: This exemption notice provides for exemption of:

(a) plastic pneumatic mattresses, etc, for hospital use;
(b) some x-ray protective lead-plastic articles;
(c) certain discontinuous yarns of man-made fibres;
(d) articles of bonded fibre fabric;
(e) typewriter and similar ribbons;
(f) knitted or crocheted fabric, etc., felted of wool or fine animal hair;
(g) knitted, etc., travelling rugs and blankets;
(h) snow ski bindings; and
(i) amendments to existing exemptions to maintain alignment with the Customs Tariff and meet our obligations under the ANZCERTA Agreement.
