Labour under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshops at Allardice Street, Dannevirke and 8 Pitt Street, Palmerston North from:
(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in that workshop; and
(b) The Holidays Act 1981, the Minimum Wage Act 1945, and sections 10(2)(b) and 15 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment made after consultation with the unions, associations, and organisations referred to in section 5 of that Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

Title—This order may be cited as the New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Canterbury Branch Order 1986, No. 2.

Exemption—The New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Canterbury Branch an organisation approved* under the former name of the Intellectually Handicapped Children’s Society, Canterbury Branch by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at 337 Burwood Road, Christchurch from:
(a) Section 35 of the Agricultural Works Act 1977 insofar as it gives effect to any provision of any award or agreement under that Act relating to remuneration, holidays and the keeping of wages and holiday books;
(b) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in the workshop; and
(c) The Holidays Act 1981, the Minimum Wage Act 1945, section 48 of the Agricultural Workers Act 1977 and section 219 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973.

The New Zealand Fruitgrowers Federation Name Order 1986

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At Wellington this 14th day of July 1986
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS section 33(2) of the Companies Act 1955 provides that where it is proved to the satisfaction of the Governor-General—
(a) That the objects of a company registered under that Act as a limited company are restricted to those specified in section 33(1) of that Act and to objects incidental or conducive thereto; and
(b) That by its constitution the company is required to apply its profits, if any, or other income in promoting its objects and is prohibited from paying any dividend to its members;—
The Governor-General may by Order in Council authorise the company to change its name by resolution to a name which does not contain the word “Limited” being a name approved by the Registrar of Companies in writing:
And whereas it has been proved to the satisfaction of the Governor-General that New Zealand Fruitgrowers Federation Limited is a company registered under the Companies Act 1955, with objects restricted to among those specified under section 33(1) of that Act and to objects incidental and conducive thereto and that by its constitution that company is required to apply its profits, if any, or other income in promoting its objects and is prohibited from paying any dividend to its members:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 33 of the Companies Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the New Zealand Fruitgrowers Federation Name Order 1986.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.
- New Zealand Fruitgrowers Federation Limited authorised to change its name—New Zealand Fruitgrowers Federation Limited is hereby authorised to change its name by resolution to the name “New Zealand Fruitgrowers Federation”.
