It is proposed to alter the route on this licence by diverting the bus to run one further block up Dublin Street, turning right into Winchester Street, right again down Oxford Street, thence to the terminus on Norwich Quay. It is proposed to try this new route for 3 months and accordingly the following condition is sought if the application is granted: The board may revert to the original service between Dublin Street and Oxford Street via London Street at any time up to a period of 90 days from the grant of this application.

  2. Licence No. 05840 Christchurch to Rangiora service. It is proposed to re-route services as follows: The bus from Christchurch via Woodend will enter Rangiora via High Street but turn right at Ashley Street, left into Blackett Street, left into King Street and left again into High Street. The return journey will be the same route in reverse except Durham Street would be used to reach Blackett Street. The Rangiora service via Southbrook would be similarly routed through that part of Rangiora.

  3. Licence No. 05826 Liggins Street. Application for consent to add to this route that part of Kingsford, Alice and Queensbury Streets. No alteration to timetable is needed.

  4. Licence No. 05839 Manuka Street. It is proposed to re-route the Manuka Street service by deleting Edgeware Road and Hills Road from this licence. It should be noted that the Hills Road portion will continue to be served by a different licence. The route is to continue north on Barbados Street across Edgeware Road, one service continuing north on Flockton Street the other turning west on Warrington Street.

The copies of the proposed alteration route maps may be obtained from the offices of the Christchurch Transport Board, Carruca House, 24 Cathedral Square, Christchurch, or from offices of the Secretary, Christchurch Transport Licensing Authority, Cumberland Street, Dunedin.
