Declaring Land to be Acquired for the Generation of Electricity in Block I, Cromwell Survey District, Vincent County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired subject to Prospecting Licence contained in Volume 91, folio 54 for the generation of electricity and shall vest in the Crown on the 9th day of January 1986.

Hawke’s Bay County—Waipukurau District Boundary Definition Notice 1985

PURSUANT to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Secretary for Local Government gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Hawke’s Bay County—Waipukurau District Boundary Definition Notice 1985.

2. The boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay County and Waipukurau District are hereby defined as set out in the Schedules hereto, those boundaries having been altered by Order in Council published in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 March 1985, No. 53, page 1394 and which came into force on 1 April 1985.

FIRST SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ngaruroro River in line with the north-western boundary of Tapapa No. 1 and 2 Blocks, Block IV, Kaweka Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly to and along that boundary and the production of that boundary to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Tapapa No. 3 Block, Block I, Kaweka Survey District; thence to and along the south-western and southern boundaries of Tapapa No. 3 Block and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Mohaka River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, Te Matai Block; thence easterly to and along that boundary and northerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 2, Te Matai Block and the production of that boundary to the northern side of the Ripia River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Tarawera Part C6 Block; thence northerly along that boundary and the intersection of that boundary with the southern boundary of Block IX, Tarawera Survey District, along that boundary and approximately 200 metres along the southern boundary of Block X, Tarawera Survey District, to its intersection with a tributary of the Toropapa Stream, as shown on M.L. 1404; thence north-easterly down that tributary to the south-western boundary of Tarawera 10A Block; thence north-easterly generally along the south-western and northern boundaries of Tarawera 10A Block, the abutment of Omarowa Roadway, and again along the northern boundary of Tarawera 10A Block, the north-eastern boundary of part Tarawera 8 Block, and along the western sides of the Kowaro Roadway and the No. 5 State Highway to a point due west of the southernmost corner of Section 1, Block XI, Tarawera Survey District; thence on a right line to that corner and north-easterly generally along the western side of Kowaro Roadway and the western side of the old Taupo-Napier Road to a point in line with the southern side of Tatarakina Roadway in Block XI, Tarawera Survey District; thence easterly generally to and along the side of that roadway and the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block XII, Waitara Survey District, to the middle of the Waikari River, and down the middle of that river to the sea coast; thence southerly generally along the sea coast to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 3216, in Block III, Waimarama Survey District; thence westerly to and along that boundary and the production of that boundary to the western side of Te Apiti Road; thence westerly again along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of Lot I, D.P. 3215; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of Lot I, D.P. 3215 to the western boundary of that Lot 1, thence northerly along the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 3215 and the production of that boundary to the northern side of Waipopoao Road; thence northerly again along that boundary and the eastern boundaries of Sections 6 and 16, and part Section 4, Block III, Oero Survey District to the northern boundary of the last-mentioned part Section 4; thence westerly generally along that boundary to
