NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
NELSON CATCHMENT AND REGIONAL WATER BOARD
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Lower Takaka Flood Relief Scheme Rating District taken on the 23rd day of October 1985 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $1.48 million to be known as the Lower Takaka Flood Relief Scheme loan for the purpose of financing work under the Lower Takaka Flood Relief Scheme resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 389.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 821.
The number of informal votes was 3.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
