The said supplementary integration agreements came into effect
on 28 November, 3 December, 5 December and 6 December 1985
respectively. Copies of the supplementary integration agreements
are available for inspection without charge by any member of the
public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National
Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at regional
offices.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional
Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration
agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education
and the proprietors of the following 3 schools:

Liston College, Auckland.
McKillop College, Rotorua.
St Patrick’s School, Panmure.

The said supplementary integration agreements came into effect
on 4 December 1985. Copies of the supplementary integration
agreements are available for inspection without charge by any
member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office,
National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at
regional offices.

Consent to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the undersigned
Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated
to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby
consents to the borrowing by the local authorities, mentioned in
the Schedule hereto, of the whole or any part of the respective
amounts specified in the Schedule.

Notice of Result of Poll on Loan Proposal Invercargill City Council

PURSUANT to section 13 (2) (or section 38) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the City of Invercargill taken on 24 December 1985 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $8,280,000 to be known as the Public Library and Retail Shopping Development Loan 1985 for the purpose of funding the construction of a new building to house the public library and a retail shopping complex in Dee Street, Invercargill, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 2773.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 4403.
The number of informal votes was 28.
I therefore declare the proposal was lost.
