Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal

—

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for a public hall, over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be leased or sold by the Amuri County Council on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such leasing or sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserve.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further declares that the scenic reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, shall hereinafter be known as Allports Island Scenic Reserve.

Declaring Road at Waiotira to be Acquired for Railway Purposes

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981, section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and all other powers enuring under that Act, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

Amending Determinations by the Minister of Customs Under Section 121 of the Customs Act 1966

—

PURSUANT to section 121 of the Customs Act 1966, the Minister of Customs hereby amends, in the manner set out in the Schedule hereto, the determinations made under the said section on the 5th day of December 1984, published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 13th day of December 1984 at pages 5710 and 5711.

SCHEDULE

PART II of the determinations is amended at paragraph 4 (a) by adding the words—

“Spoilers/air dams made principally of unhardened vulcanised rubber or artificial plastic materials.”

This variation to the aforesaid determination will take effect on the 1st day of May 1985.
