PAPER REVIEW — CHAPTER 48 CONCESSIONS
The following concessions are the result of the review of tariff concessions of Chapter 48 (previously advertised in Tariff Notice 84/263). These replace all the existing concessions of Chapter 48 which are cancelled by this notice.
The threshold values for determinations are currently being considered and any amendments will be published in a later notice.
A number of concessions have been cancelled, including some recently approved by Ports. In general, the reason is that these are either duplications of existing concessions or the wording is being assessed for possible reinstatement.
Applications for invididual shipments will be considered where goods were imported and not covered by concession at the time of importation prior to implementation of the new concessions. Applications should be forwarded to:

Chapter 48 Paper printed or plain, other than glued, impregnated, or otherwise treated, on condition the goods are for use by a manufacturer solely in making laminated plastic sheet or as an overlay on wall panelling, joinery or furniture components
Chapter 48 Paper printed with an all-over design (such as + and -), on condition the goods are for use by clothing manufacturers in making patterns
