NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of
Blenheim taken on 13 April 1985, on the proposal of the above-
mentioned local authority, to raise a Pool Loan of $700,000 to be
known as the Covered Swimming Pool Loan 1984 for the purpose
of constructing a covered swimming pool, as part of the Olympic
Pool Complex, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 948
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 1726
The number of informal votes was 19

I therefore declare that the proposal was lost.
