Reappointment of Small Claims Tribunal Referee

Pursuant to section 7 of the Small Claims Tribunals Act 1976,
His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to reappoint
Major-General Robin Hugh Ferguson Holloway, C.B.E., retired
of Wellington,
to be a Referee to exercise the jurisdiction of the Small Claims
Tribunals for a further term of 3 years on and from the 4th day of
May 1985.

Appointment of Acting District Court Judge and Family Court Judge

Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, as
amended, and section 7 of the Family Courts Act 1980, His
Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Kenneth Harold James Headifen, District Court Judge of Nelson,
as an acting District Court Judge and Family Court Judge, to exercise
civil and criminal jurisdiction and to exercise the jurisdiction of
the Children and Young Persons Courts and the jurisdiction of the
Family Courts at such places and for such period or periods only
as the Chief District Court Judge may fix pursuant to the said section
10A of the District Courts Act 1947 and section 7 of the Family
Courts Act 1980 for a term of 2 years on and from 1 July 1985.

Appointment of Member to the Hawke's Bay Land Valuation Tribunal

Pursuant to section 19 of the Land Valuation Proceedings Act
1948 as substituted by section 2 of the Land Valuation Proceedings
Amendment Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General has
been pleased to appoint
William Jens Harvey, registered valuer of Hastings,
to be a member of the Hawke's Bay Land Valuation Tribunal for
a period of 6 years on and from the date hereof.
