EXPLANATORY NOTE: This exemption notice provides for amendments to existing exemptions to:
(a) To maintain alignment with the Customs Tariff; and
(b) Provides further exemptions for: fish livers; preserved fruits; lemon peel; peel of melon and citrus fruit etc.; flours or meals of oil seeds, etc.; vegetable saps and extracts, etc., of hops; glycerol and glycerol lyes; herrings and pilchards; artificial honey; prepared potatoes; prepared ginger; oil cake and other residues, etc.; rectified spirits of wine; cordials and liqueurs; other spirits and spirituous mixtures other than in bulk; natural honey; kaolin; ores of gold; motor spirits other than in bulk; petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons; anhydrous ammonia; aqueous ammonia; cupric aluminium sulphate; silver nitrate; refined naphthalene; trichlorophenols; medicated wines; oil of hops; cosmetic pencils; aqueous distillates and solutions of essential oils; rennet; various herbicides; fluxes for soldering, brazing or welding; water insoluble napthenates, and sulphonaphthenates; compound catalysts; horse collars; wrist supporting straps; dress pattern envelopes; cones of paper or paperboard; glass stoppers and other closures; unwrought or semi-manufactured gold; unworked or semi-manufactured rolled gold; jewellers’ sweepings of gold; electrical parts of machinery and apparatus; bullets and lead shoot; ammunition other than pellets and slugs; indoor croquet and skittle requisites; and fishing rods of cane.
