  2. This is the first call for tenders under the Plan.

  3. The call is for tenders for built-up vehicles in 5 classes, and motor vehicle parts and accessories under a number of Item Codes.

  4. The value being tendered for vehicles up to 3500 kg GVW (gross vehicle weight), vehicles 3500—10 500 kg GVW, vehicles exceeding 10 500 kg GVW, and special purpose vehicles is a 6 month allocation. There will be a second call for tenders in July 1985.

SPECIAL ALLOCATION FOR AUSTRALIAN VEHICLES

  1. In addition to these allocations, there is a special allocation held exclusively for vehicles up to 3,500 kg GVW of Australian origin. (The criteria for “Australian origin” are contained in the Customs Regulations 1968, as amended).
