- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (c), (f), (e), (f), (i), and (j) of regulation 13 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1984. The primary distribution voltages shall be 33 000 volts and 11 000 volts between phases in the case of the system described in paragraph (f), and 11 000 volts between conductors in the case of the system described in paragraph (e). The system of supply authorised under paragraph (j) shall be a single-conductor earth-return system and the primary distribution voltages shall be 11 000 volts and 6 350 volts between the conductor and the earth and the use of this system shall be subject to such terms and conditions as are from time to time laid down by the Deputy Secretary of the Electricity Division of the Ministry of Energy.
The secondary distribution voltage shall be 400 volts between phases and 230 volts between any phase and neutral in the case of the 3-phase 4-wire system of supply, and 460 volts between outer conductors and 230 volts between each outer conductor and the middle conductor in the case of the 3-wire system of supply and 230 volts between conductors in the case of the 2-wire system of supply.
- The Electrical Supply Authority shall, 6 months prior to the expiry of the term of this licence provided in clause 7 herein, make written application to the Minister of Energy for the granting of a new licence.
SCHEDULE
AREA OF SUPPLY
All that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost point of Section 1, Block V, Waipoua S.D. and proceeding in a north-easterly direction along the southern boundary of said Section 1 to the middle of the Waipoua River; thence generally easterly along the middle of said river to and northerly along the western boundaries of Blocks VIII and IV, Waipoua S.D. and easterly along the northern boundary of Block IV aforesaid; thence easterly and generally north-easterly along the southern boundary of Section 14, Block XIII, Punakitere S.D. and that boundary produced to the middle of the Mangakahia River; easterly along the middle of said river to the western boundary of Section 3, Block XV, Punakitere S.D.; thence along the western and northern boundaries of said Section 3 to and easterly along the middle of the Mangakahia River to the north-eastern boundary of Akuatitera No. 2 Block; thence along the said boundary to and along the middle of said river to and along the middle of the Awana River to a point in line with the northern boundary of the middle part of the Nukutawhiti Block; thence easterly to and along the boundary and along the western boundary of part Section 4, D.P. 27693, Block I, Mangakahia S.D., the western and northern boundaries of Lot 1, Kaikohe Block to and along the northern side of the Kaikou River to a point in line with the western boundary of the Kaikou D3 Block in Block XIV, Motatau S.D.; thence along a right line across said river to and along that western boundary, to and along the western and southern boundaries of Kaikou A3E Block to and generally easterly along the northern side of Omauri Road and the southern boundaries of Kaikou A3H1, part A3A, A2 and A1 Blocks, crossing intervening public roads, to Trig. Station Takaroto in Block XV, Motatau S.D.; thence along a right line to Trig. Station Mangakowhara in Block XV aforesaid and along another right line to Trig. Station Kawahakapoko in Block XVI, Motatau S.D.; thence north-westerly along the western boundary of part Section 1, D.P. 14877 to and along the northern boundary of Block XVI, Motatau S.D. and the western and northern boundaries of Section NW 13, D.P. 11730, Block XIII, Hukerenui S.D. and the last mentioned boundary produced across Marlow Road to and northerly along the western boundaries of Sections 24 and 23, Block IX, Hukerenui S.D. to and along the northern boundary of said Section 23, the eastern boundaries of said Sections 23 and 24, the northern boundaries of Sections part 30, 4 and 3, Block XIII, Hukerenui S.D. the western boundary of Section 32, Block X aforesaid and the south-western, western and northern boundaries of Section 2, Block IX, Hukerenui S.D. to the western boundary of Block X, Hukerenui S.D.; thence northerly along said Block boundary to the northern boundary of Section 51, Block X, Hukerenui S.D.; thence along the said northern boundary to and along the western boundaries of Sections 50, 48 and 61 to and easterly along the northern boundaries of said Section 61, Lot 1, D.P. 67251 and Section 38 to and northerly along the western boundary of Section 19 all being in Block X aforesaid and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the northern side of No. 1 State Highway; thence easterly along said side of State highway to and northerly along the western boundary of part Section 17, Block X, Hukerenui S.D. to the Ngawhawhine Stream; thence generally easterly along said stream to the Waiotu River, thence northerly along said river to the eastern side of a public road in the western boundary of Section 74, Block VI, Hukerenui S.D.; thence northerly along said road side and that road side produced to the northern side of Tapuhi Road; westerly and northerly along said road side to the northern boundary of Section 73, Block XI, aforesaid; thence easterly along that boundary to and along the western boundary of Block VII, Hukerenui S.D. to the southern boundary of Section 5 all of Block VII aforesaid, to and along the western boundaries of Sections 13, 12, 23 and 22, Block III, Hukerenui S.D.; thence along the northern and eastern boundaries of said Section 22; thence easterly and northerly along the generally western boundary of Block IV, Hukerenui S.D. to the southern boundary of the northern part of Paremataomokau A21 Block in Block IV aforesaid; thence westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of said A21 Block to and along the western and northern boundaries of Panakiri No. 2 Block, the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block XVI, Russell S.D. to and along the western boundaries of Waikokopu No. 3, No. 1, Part No. 2 and No. 3, D.P. 34713 Blocks and part Section 5, Block XII, Russell S.D. to the southern boundary of Section 6, Block XII aforesaid; thence along the southern and western boundaries of said Section 6; to the western boundaries of Tutamure Part A, D.P. 27504 and part B23 Blocks to and across Russell Road to and along the southern boundary of Section 7 (Scenic Reserve) and along the western boundaries of said Section 8 and part Tutaematai B24 Block (Scenic Reserve) to the northernmost point of said Part B24 Block; thence northerly along the westerly boundaries of Whangaruruaoitonga 4A7B and part A49 Blocks to and along the northern boundary of said part A49 Block, crossing Ngaioina Rawhiti Road to the Pacific Ocean; thence by the sea coast northerly, westerly and southerly bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the east and Tasman Sea to the west to the point of commencement, including all those islands in the Bay of Islands and those islands adjacent to the sea coast.
The said area being more particularly shown outlined in black on the plan numbered NZE 2074 (Sheets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) deposited in the office of the Electricity Division of the Ministry of Energy at Wellington.

Christchurch City Council Electricity Supply Licence 1985
I, Robert James Tizard, Minister of Energy, acting pursuant to section 20 of the Electricity Act 1968 hereby license Christchurch City Council hereinafter called the Electrical Supply Authority to supply electricity, and to lay, construct, put up, place and use all electric lines and works which may from time to time be required for the distribution and supply of electricity within the area specified in the Schedule hereto.
This licence is issued subject to the following conditions:
CONDITIONS

This licence may be cited as the Christchurch City Council Electricity Supply Licence 1985.

The Electrical Supply Authority shall comply with the provisions of this licence, the Electricity Act 1968 and all enactments made in amendment of or substitution for that Act, any Electrical Codes of Practice made under that Act, the Electrical Supply Regulations 1984, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976 and all regulations made in amendment of or substitution for any of those regulations.

Any notice to be given to the Electrical Supply Authority shall be sufficient if sent by registered post to the offices of the Electrical Supply Authority.

Any notice to be given on the part of the Minister of Energy shall be sufficient if given in writing signed by the Minister or by any person purporting to act on behalf of or under the authority of the Minister.

Any notice to be given to the Minister of Energy shall be sufficient if given in writing to or sent by registered post letter addressed to the Secretary of Energy, Ministry of Energy, Wellington.

This licence shall not be construed as granting a consent to generate electricity pursuant to section 25 of the Electricity Act 1968.

This licence shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1985 and shall continue in force for a period of 21 years from that date unless it is sooner lawfully determined in accordance with clauses 8 or 9 hereof.

The Governor-General in Council may pursuant to section 22 of the Electricity Act 1968 cancel this licence if the Electrical Supply Authority is in breach of the provisions contained in clause 2 of these conditions.

This licence may be cancelled by the Minister of Energy at the request of or with the consent of the Electrical Supply Authority.
