Land Acquired for the Generation of Electricity in Block XVIII, Leaning Rock Survey District, Vincent County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect has been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, subject as to the land firstly and secondly described in Gazette notice No. 578362, defining the middle line of a portion of the Timaru-Milton State Highway and prospecting licence 574562, and subject as to the land thirdly described to building line restriction imposed by Notice 242049 and prospecting licence 574562, for the generation of electricity and shall vest in the Crown on the 14th day of March 1985.

Land Acquired, Subject to Certain Rights, for Coal Mining Operations Under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 in Block XIV, Rangiriri Survey District, Raglan County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect has been entered into the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired subject, as to the land firstly described to the mining rights created by transfer No. 33500 and the fencing agreement contained in transfer No. 370584, and, as to the land secondly described, to the mining rights created by Deeds 173870 (R. 112/262) and 178252 (R. 120/516) and the fencing agreement contained in transfer No. 237934, South Auckland Land Registry, for coal mining operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 and shall vest in the Crown on the 14th day of March 1985.
