Classification of Reserves and Vesting in the Murupara Borough Council

———

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserves, described in the Schedule hereto, as local purpose reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said reserves, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and vests the reserves in the Murupara Borough Council in trust for that purpose.

Maori Land Development Notice

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1985, No. 1.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Redefining Class of Persons for Who Use and Benefit Maori Reservation Made

———

WHEREAS pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 80, page 1616, dated the 23rd day of August 1973, was set aside as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a place of historical interest for the common use and benefit of the general public.

Now therefore pursuant to section 439 (5) (d) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said class of persons for whose use and benefit the reservation was made is hereby redefined to read:

“For the common use and benefit of the Araukuku sub tribe”

4.6665 Part Araukuku F Block, situated in Block XIV, Ngaere Survey District and being all the land contained in certificate of title No. E2/1220.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground and place of historical interest for the common use and benefit of the members of the Atiawa Tribe.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land, situated in Block IV, Paritutu Survey District and described as follows:

Area m² Being
7511 Wahitapu or Waitapu being Section 198, Block IV, Paritutu Survey District and being all the land contained in the revesting order of 11 August 1927 from the Crown as the same is more particularly delineated on plan 1104N.
