STIRLING SEWERAGE LOAN 1984
Notice of Result of Poll
Pursuant to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the Stirling Sewerage area taken on the 15th day of February, 1985, on the proposal of the above-named local authority, to raise a loan of $265,000 to be known as the Stirling Sewerage Loan 1984, for the purpose of providing a sewerage main trunk reticulation treatment and effluent disposal scheme, for the Stirling Township Sewerage area, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 65
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 27
The number of informal votes was Nil
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD
Pursuant to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on the 22nd day of February 1985 at Dunedin was 372.33 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).
As this price is above the Wool Board’s Substitute Payment Scheme minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) no supplement is payable on wool until further notice.
There is likewise no grower retention levy payable in terms of section 42 of the Wool Industry Act 1977, as the A W A S P, is less than the ruling trigger price of 500 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

NEW ZEALAND APPLE AND PEAR MARKETING BOARD
DETERMINATION OF SUPPLEMENTARY PRICE FOR APPLES AND PEARS
In accordance with section 27 (a) I of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act, the Board, at its meeting held on 19 February, determined that for the 1984/85 season:
(a) A supplementary price for all apples purchased by the Board from growers during that season of 29.6730 cents per kilogram.
(b) A supplementary price for all pears purchased by the Board from growers during the season of 36.9135 cents per kilogram.
