Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing to the appropriate office as indicated by the identification reference on or before 7 March 1985. Submissions should include a reference to the identification reference, application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned and be supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported material used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

Notice by Examiner of Commercial Practices of Consents to Merger and Takeover Proposals

PURSUANT to section 72 (6) of the Commerce Act 1975, notice is hereby given that the Examiner of Commercial Practices has consented to the following merger and takeover proposals.

Landmark Securities Ltd. Landmark Securities Ltd. may acquire up to 40 percent of the issued shares in Commercial Securities Ltd.
Brierley Investments Ltd. Brierley Investments Ltd. may acquire over 50 percent of Welgas Holdings Ltd.
