SCHEDULE
All that area of the waters of Tapuaeharuru Bay, Lake Taupo in front of the carpark on State Highway 1 and between Pataka Street and Taharepa Road. The area is bounded by parallel lines extending from either end of the said carpark out to a distance of 150 metres from the lake margin at normal lake level in a direction of 220 degrees true.

Area of Lake Taupo Reserved for Parasailing

PURSUANT to regulation 25 of the Lake Taupo Regulations 1976, the Secretary for Local Government hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. The areas of the water of Lake Taupo specified in the Schedule hereto are reserved for parasailing.
  2. This notice shall come into force on the 20th day of December 1985.

SCHEDULE

  1. All that area of the waters of Five Mile Bay, Lake Taupo in front of the “Quarry Site” commencing approximately 130 metres north of the Northern Ski Access Lane marker poles and extending 150 metres to the north. The area is bounded by parallel lines extending from yellow marker poles at either end of the area out to a distance of 200 metres from the lake margin at normal lake level in a direction of approximately 240 degrees true. The lake boundaries will be marked by yellow buoys.

  2. All that area of the water of Five Mile Bay, Lake Taupo in front of the Recreational Reserve. The shore line boundaries northern boundary 110 metres south of Tawhia Street and the southern boundary being 70 metres further south. The area extending into the lake 200 metres from the lake margin at normal lake level, being parallel to the lake shoreline but extending to 100 metres either side of the shore centre line (which is in a direction of approximately 240° true). The shore boundaries will be marked by yellow poles and the lake boundaries marked by yellow buoys.

  3. All that area of the waters of Hallett Bay, Lake Taupo extending 200 metres along the lake shore between Toki Point and the Wairere Stream mouth and extending eastward 200 metres into the lake.

  4. All that area of the waters of Whangamata Bay, Lake Taupo commencing 250 metres west of the Kinloch Marina entrance at the Kowhai Tree, and extending 200 metres along the shore and 200 metres south into the lake.

The access lanes are marked by yellow coloured poles on shore and yellow buoys in the water.

Area of Lake Taupo Reserved for Parasailing

PURSUANT to regulation 25 of the Lake Taupo Regulations 1976, the Secretary for Local Government hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. The area of the waters of Lake Taupo specified in the Schedule hereto is reserved for parasailing.
  2. This notice shall come into force on 22 December 1985.

SCHEDULE
All that area of the waters of Stump Bay, Lake Taupo commencing approximately 175 metres west of the Turangi Yacht Club and extending to the north from the lake margin. The area is 200 metres wide and extends 200 metres into the lake. The access lane is marked by yellow coloured poles on shore and yellow buoys in the water.

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in the Town of Papatawai

PURSUANT to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Clutha County Council pursuant to the said section 323 and on the publication of this notice the land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

1.7547 hectares, more or less, being unformed legal road, adjoining Sections 143–146, 153–156 and closed road. Town of Papatawai; shown marked ‘A’ on S.O. Plan 21186.

1695 square metres, more or less, being unformed legal road adjoining Sections 153, 154 and 161, Town of Papatawai; shown marked ‘B’ on S.O. Plan 21186.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (road) reserve, over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Tauranga City Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—TAURANGA CITY
1826 square metres, more or less, being Lot 4, D.P. S. 13098, situated in Block X, Tauranga Survey District. Balance certificate of title 272/51.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Chatto Creek Recreation Reserve.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—VINCENT COUNTY CHATTO CREEK RECREATION RESERVE
4376 square metres, more or less, being Sections 8 and 11, Block X, Tiger Hill Survey District. All Gazette notice 6608. S.O. Plans 11511 and 11788.
