Appointment of Officers to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 September 1985, No. 173, page 4086.

The following three positions in the Schedule were incorrectly spelt and should read:

Postmaster, Waiwera.
Postmaster, Tokorima.
Postmaster, Waimiha.

Appointment of Members to the Joint Council for Local Authorities Services

Pursuant to sections 4 and 5 of the Joint Council for Local Authorities Services Act 1977, the Minister of Local Government hereby appoints the following persons to be members of the Joint Council for Local Authorities Services with terms of office to commence on 1 October 1985 and expire on 30 September 1988

Lesley James Fry of Auckland

on the joint nomination of the Industrial Unions of Workers specified in Part I of the First Schedule to the Act; and,

Murray Maywell Sweetman

on the nomination of the Electrical Supply Authorities Association of New Zealand.

Member of Council of Legal Education Appointed

Pursuant to the Law Practitioners Act 1982, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Ian Stewart Cameron, Esquire, Barrister, of Christchurch to be a member of the Council of Legal Education for a term expiring on the 30th day of May 1987.

NOTICE is hereby given by direction of the Minister of Agriculture that pursuant to section 12 (2) (d) of the Pesticides Act 1979, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Margaret Peace, retired farmer of Blenheim (on the nomination of the Minister for the Environment) as a member of the Pesticides Board for a period of 3 years from 18 August 1985.

NOTICE is hereby given by direction of the Minister of Agriculture that, pursuant to section 3 (3) of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Victor Michael Sunde, orchardist of Auckland and Harold John Williams, orchardist of Nelson (on the nomination of the Fruit Growers' Federation) as members of the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board for a period of 3 years from 1 December 1985.
