New Zealand Railways Corporation General Scale of Charges Notice: Amendment No. 13

Pursuant to the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981, the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby makes the following alterations and additions to the General Act Scale of Charges dated the 9th day of July 1982*, and hereby declares that such alterations and additions shall come into force on the 8th day of December 1985.

22. PARCELS TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON ALL SERVICES

Clause 22.1.1 Light and Bulky Parcels

After the words “35 kilograms measuring greater than 0.30m³” insert new paragraph

“Extremely light and bulky articles are to be charged at ordinary parcels rate using a conversion rate of 333 kilograms per cubic metre”.

23. PARCELS CLASSIFICATION

After commodity; “Radio, television sets and other electronic equipment etc,” insert new commodity; “Surfboards . . . Parcels rates plus 50 percent.”

24. PARCEL RATES

Clause 24.1 Ordinary Parcels Rates

Omit the table of ordinary rates for parcels and substitute:
