Reappointment of Directors to the New Zealand Wool Board

NOTICE is hereby given by direction of the Minister of Agriculture that, pursuant to section 4(2)(a) of the Wool Industry Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to reappoint John Douglas McIlraith, sheepfarmer of Kurow and Peter Thomas Barry, sheepfarmer of Rotorua (representing the Woolgrowers of New Zealand) as directors of the New Zealand Wool Board for a period of 3 years from 1 September 1985.

Appointing a Member of the Northland Catchment Commission
PURSUANT to section 13(5)(a) of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority hereby appoints John Marshall Carlyle Wilson of Kokopu to be a member of the Northland Catchment Commission.

Unclaimed PropertyβNotice of Election by the Public Trustee to Become Manager Under Part V of the Public Trust Office Act 1957
WHEREAS Peter Coyle, formerly of Ngataki, gumdigger, is the registered proprietor of an estate in fee simple in all that parcel of land containing 1.1638 hectares, more or less, being Section 39 of Block V of the Hohoura East Survey District and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 493, folio 294, Auckland Registry.
And whereas after due enquiry it is not known where the said Peter Coyle is or whether he is alive or dead.
And whereas the Public Trustee having made due enquiry does not know of any agent or administrator of the said Peter Coyle in New Zealand with authority to take possession of and administer the said parcel of land.
And whereas the gross value of the said parcel of land does not exceed $4,000 and for the purposes of section 80(2) of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, the Public Trustee is satisfied that it is in the interests of the said Peter Coyle that the Public Trustee should become the manager of the said parcel of land under Part V of the said Act.
Now therefore the Public Trustee in exercise of the authority conferred upon him by the said section 80(2) of the said Act, hereby elects to be the manager of the said parcel of land under Part V of the said Act.

Appointment of Deputy Chairman of the Licensing Control Commission
PURSUANT to section 7 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Walter Max Willis, retired District Court Judge, of Wellington, to be Deputy Chairman of the Licensing Control Commission from 3 October 1985 to 30 November 1985 for the purpose of concluding two matters previously acted upon while he was still Chairman of the Commission.

Appointments to the Rules Committee
PURSUANT to section 2 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1930 as substituted by section 2 of the Judicature Amendment Act (No. 2) 1968 the Chief Justice of New Zealand has appointed John Anthony Doogue, Esquire, of Nelson, barrister to be a member of the Rules Committee to hold office for a term expiring on the 31st day of December 1985.

Reappointment of Member to the Fisheries Authority (No. 3619, Ag. 1/53/2/50)
PURSUANT to section 13(2)(c) of the Fisheries Act 1983, I hereby reappoint Thomas Carroll Ormond, farmer of Wairoa (on the nomination of New Zealand Maori Council) to be a member of the Fisheries Authority for a term of 3 years from 1 October 1985.

Temporary Conciliator of Industrial Conciliation Service Appointed
PURSUANT to section 63(7) of the Industrial Relations Act 1973 (as substituted by section 6(2) of the Industrial Relations Amendment Act (No. 2) 1976), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour, has been pleased to appoint Esmond Verdun Wright, of Auckland to be a conciliator of the Industrial Conciliation Service in a temporary capacity for the period commencing on the 11th day of November 1985 and ending with the 22nd day of November 1985.
