The Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Order (No. 2) 1985

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of October 1985

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Whereas, pursuant to section 43 (4) of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority is entitled to exercise all the powers, authorities, and discretions vested in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960:

And whereas the said Auckland Regional Authority has petitioned His Excellency the Governor-General that certain land be excluded from the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District;

Now therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Order (No. 2) 1985.
   (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1986.

2. Inner Area altered—The boundaries of the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District are hereby altered so as to exclude the land described in the Schedule to this order.

3. Determination of financial obligations—The financial obligations and assessment under the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Act 1960 of the Waitemata City Council with respect to the land described in the Schedule to this order shall be determined on and from the 1st day of April 1986.

SCHEDULE

All that area in the North Auckland Land District, City of Waitemata, in Blocks I and II, Titirangi Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 99875, being the intersection of Candia and Sturges Roads; thence easterly generally along the southern side of Sturges Road to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Allotment 285, Waipareira Parish; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Allotment 285, Waipareira Parish and Lot 12, D.P. 8632 to its intersection with the northern side of Henderson Valley Road; thence westerly generally along the northern side of that road to its intersection with Candia Road; thence northerly generally along the eastern side of that road to the point of commencement.

Flight Lieutenant Peter James Michael White (S90820) (RAAF Rtd) is appointed to the Regular Air Force on a fixed engagement in his present rank, with seniority from 13 June 1981 and effect from 13 June 1985.
