Local Authorities Loans Regulations 1975

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Tirau Hall Special Rating Area taken on the 19th day of October 1985, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $450,000 to be known as the Tirau War Memorial Hall Replacement Loan 1985, for the purpose of replacing the Tirau War Memorial Hall resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 113.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 152.
The number of informal votes was 1.

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
