S. 13179, and their production to the centre line of Waikino Road, thence generally easterly along that centre line to the left bank of the Mangakowhiriwhiri Stream thence by a right line to the southernmost corner of Section I, Block XV, Whakamaru Survey District, thence generally northerly along the eastern boundary of that section to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Section 5, Block XV aforesaid, thence north-easterly by a right line to the centre line of Kaahu Road, thence southerly along that centre line to a point opposite the southern boundary of Section 17, Block XV aforesaid, thence generally easterly, northerly and again easterly along the generally southern boundary of the said Section 17 to the left bank of the Maraemanuka Stream, thence southerly along that bank to the north-western boundary of Section 20, Block XV, Whakamaru Survey District, thence south-westerly along that boundary and its production to the centre line of Kaahu Road, thence north-westerly along that centre line to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 7, Block XV aforesaid, thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the left bank of the Mangakowhiriwhiri Stream, thence southerly along that bank to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. S. 23009, thence by a right line to and westerly along the northern boundaries of the said Lot 2 and Lot 1, D.P. S. 23009, to and north-westerly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S. 18972, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the centre line of State Highway No. 32 thence north-westerly along that centre line to the point of commencement.

"Fourthly": All that area in Puketapu and Karangahape Survey Districts bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Hauhungaroa 5 Block in Block VII, Puketapu Survey District, and proceeding thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of the said Hauhungaroa 5 Block to and along the north-western boundary of part Hauhungaroa 2C Block to its intersection with a right line parallel to, and 1 km distant from and north-west of the north-western boundary of part Waihaha 3D2 Block, thence north-easterly along that line to its intersection with the right bank of a tributary of the Waihaha River (Map reference N.Z.M.S.1, sheet N. 93/182347), thence generally easterly along that bank and the right bank of the Waihaha River to the western shore of Lake Taupo, thence southerly along that shore to the left bank of the Waikino Stream, thence generally westerly along that bank to the eastern boundary of part Hauhungaroa 2C Block, thence southerly along that boundary and its production to the centre line of Te Pute Road, thence westerly along that centre line to the centre line of State Highway No. 32, thence generally southerly along that centre line to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Wharakawa Block, thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and the north-western boundaries of Hauhungaroa part 1D2 and 1D1 Blocks, to and thence generally north-westerly along the generally north-eastern boundary of Hauhungaroa 2D2 Block to and along the north-eastern boundary of Hauhungaroa 4 Block to the point of commencement.

As shown on plan No. T16/1 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington and thereon bordered red.

Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations and Retirements of Officers of the New Zealand Army

Pursuant to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army.

REGULAR FORCE

APPOINTMENTS TO COMMISSION

The following are appointed to commissions in the rank of Lieutenant and Quartermaster, with seniority and effect from the date shown:

V344168 Warrant Officer Class I Neilson Edward Horn, Royal N.Z. Infantry Regiment, 26 August 1985.

G537125 Warrant Officer Class I Edward Ned Tahana, Royal N.Z. Infantry Regiment, 3 September 1985.

H940454 Warrant Officer Class I Ronald Munro Kyle, The Corps of Royal N.Z. Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, 16 September 1985.

G43706 Warrant Officer Class II Wayne Edward John Longley, Royal N.Z. Armoured Corps, is appointed to a commission in the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 27 January 1984 and effect from 2 September 1985.

The following are appointed to commissions in the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 2 July 1985 and effect from 16 September 1985:

Captain Nicholas Joseph Rea is transferred from the Territorial Force on a fixed engagement of 4 years, in his present rank with seniority and effect from 16 September 1985.

2nd Lieutenant S. D. Newman to be Lieutenant with seniority and effect from 15 September 1985.

ROYAL N.Z. ARMOURED CORPS

Major Neville James Watt is transferred to the Army Reserve, General List of Officers, in his present rank with effect from 22 September 1985.

ROYAL N.Z. INFANTRY REGIMENT

Major P. D. Leigh to be temp. Lieutenant Colonel with effect from 16 September 1985.
