The Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Order 1985

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 19th day of August 1985

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 43 (4) of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority is entitled to exercise all the powers, authorities, and discretions vested in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960:

And whereas the said Auckland Regional Authority has petitioned His Excellency the Governor-General that certain land be included in the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District;

Now therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Order 1985.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1986.

  1. Inner Area extended—The boundaries of the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District are hereby altered so as to include the land described in the First and Second Schedules to this order.

  2. Determination of financial obligations—The financial obligations and assessment under the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960 of the Manukau City Council with respect to the land described in the Schedules to this order shall be determined on and from the 1st day of April 1986.

FIRST SCHEDULE

All that area in the North Auckland Land District, City of Manukau, in Blocks X and XIII, Otahuhu Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-westernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 83859; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that Lot 2 for a distance of 250.94 metres; thence north-westerly along a bearing of 336° 55' (being the former north-eastern boundary of Lot 10, D.P. 28571) to its intersection with the south-eastern side of Bolderwood Place; thence south-westerly along that south-eastern roadside to its intersection with Roscommon Road; thence southerly generally along the eastern side of Roscommon Road to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

All that area in the North Auckland Land District, City of Manukau, in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 83859; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary, of that Lot 1 for a distance of 17.03 metres; thence south-easterly along a bearing of 156°55' (being the former north-eastern boundary of Lot 8, D.P. 28571) for a distance of 100.58 metres; thence north-easterly along a bearing of 76° 03' 40" (being the former north-western boundary of Lot 13, D.P. 28571) for a distance of 17.19 metres; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 83859 to the point of commencement.
