This bylaw shall apply to all vehicles except heavy motor vehicles as defined in the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974.

No vehicle at the intersection of State Highway No. 1 and Mungavin Avenue in the City of Porirua shall make the right turn from the northern leg of State Highway No. 1 onto Mungavin Avenue Railway Overbridge.

Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $200 (two hundred dollars).
This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board held in Wellington on the 17th day of July 1985.

Revocation of Former Section of State Highway No. 1
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 July 1985 and pursuant to section 11(4) of the National Roads Act 1953, hereby revokes that part of State Highway No. 1, commencing at the junction with Tomarata Valley Road and proceeding generally in a westerly direction to the junction with Wayby Station Road and then in a northerly direction for a total distance of approximately 800 metres and terminating at a point approximately 200 metres south of the boundary between Part 2 of D.P. 15424 and part Section 32, certificate of title 877/185 in Block XII, Pakiri Survey District as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan 10/20/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Manager, Ministry of Works and Development, Auckland North and there available for public inspection.

The Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 2 1985
PURSUANT to regulation 3(7) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 2 1985.

It is declared, as requested by the National Roads Board, that the State highway as set out in the Schedule shall belong to the class set out in the said Schedule.

So much of the notice dated the 13th day of June 1980†, which relates to the classification of the highway described in the Schedule is revoked.

Approval of Motorcycle Safety Helmets in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1976
PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, motorcycle safety helmets of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto are hereby approved for the purposes of regulation 31 of the said regulations.
SCHEDULE
SAFETY helmets manufactured by Cross S.A. bearing the model designation Lazer MX and Lazer LZ2, and bearing the certification mark of the Standards Association of Australia AS 1698.
Pursuant to powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport by an instrument of delegation dated the 28th day of March 1985.

Exemption of Certain Motor Vehicles From the Height for Front Direction Indicators and Forward-Facing Side Lamps
NOTICE
PURSUANT to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the motor vehicles specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby exempt from the requirements of subclause 3(a) of regulations 59 and subclause 2 (a) of regulation 63 of the said regulations, in respect of the maximum height of 1.5 metres that the forward-facing side lamp and front direction indicator may be mounted above the ground.
SCHEDULE
ANY MACK model M.H.R. (ultra-liner) truck, whenever first registered.
Pursuant to powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport by an instrument of delegation dated the 28th day of March 1985.

The Traffic (Waipa County) Notice No. 1 1985
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:
NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipa County) Notice No. 1 1985.
The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 1st day of March 1961†, which relates to the Frankton - Pirongia Road situated within Waipa County, is revoked.
