ANZCERTA TENDERED EXCLUSIVE AUSTRALIAN LICENCES (TEALS)—TENDER ROUND 23

The following are the official results of Round 23 of the Import Licensing Tendering Scheme. This round of tendering was for goods under ANZCERTA.

TEALs obtained in this round are valid from 1 July 1985 to 30 June 1986. Goods imported with these licences must meet the criteria for products of Australian origin as contained in the amended Customs Regulations 1968. The New Zealand/Australian Rules of Origin are detailed in article 3 of the ANZCER Trade Agreement.

Explanatory Notes:

  1. Allocations were completed in 2 stages. In both stages allocation was in order of the premiums bid. Where demand exceeded availability the initial allocation in the item code was limited to the initial share detailed in the New Zealand Gazette of 17 April 1985 for each company. The remaining licence was then allocated in the second stage in order of premiums bid without any limitations on the amounts an individual firm could receive.

  2. In those items codes where not all of the licence available was taken up by tender and a residual balance remains, premiums have been waived. Residual licence may be obtained on application to the Executive Officer, General Industries Division (ANZCERTA), Department of Trade and Industry, Private Bag, Wellington.
