Transport Licensing Authority Sitting

Pursuant to sections 121, 133 and 135 of the Transport Act 1962 as amended by the Transport Amendment Act No. 2, 1983, the Wellington District and No. 5b Transport Licensing Authority (William O'Brien), gives notice of the receipt of the following applications and will hold a public sitting to hear evidence for or against the granting of them in the Boardroom, Courts Administration Office, Department of Justice, Herschell Street, Napier, commencing on Wednesday, the 24th day of July 1985 at 9.30 a.m. Applicants must be present or represented. All documents for alteration must be handed in at the sitting.

A/5B/71 N.Z. Railway Corporation, Wellington: Amend Passenger Service Licence No. 12601 by deleting the present approved urban timetable and routes, and substituting the following:

Out: From Dickens Street via Munroe Street, Marine Parade, Ellison Street, Te Awa Avenue, Main Highway thru Clive, Whakatu and Mangaone, Karamu Road. St Aubyn and Russell Streets to Westernans.

In: From Westernans via Russell and Eastbourne Streets, Railway Road, Queen Street, Karamu Road then reverse of outward route.

Via Maraenui: Normal route to Clive then via Main, Kenny and Rochfort Roads, Willowbank, Geddis and Longfellow Avenues, Bledisloe Road, Bright Crescent, Nash Street, Nuffield Avenue, Ellison Street, Nelson Crescent, Kinross White, McGrath and Hastings Streets to Dickens Street.

Napier-Hastings via Taradale:

Out: From Dickens Street via Thackeray Street, Kennedy and Taradale Roads, Gloucester Street, thence via main road to Pakowhai Road, Nelson, St Aubyn and Russell Streets to Westernans.

In: From Westernans via Russell, Eastbourne Market, St Aubyn and Nelson Streets then reverse of outward route.
