Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 1, 1985.

The area specified in the Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Lake County at Glenorchy:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of Oban Street at its intersection with the southern side of Coll Street; thence easterly, generally, along the southern side of Coll Street to its eastern end; thence across Coll Street at right angles from its southern side to its northern side; thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Mull Street 130 metres measured easterly, generally, along Mull Street from Oban Street; thence across Mull Street at right angles from its southern side to its northern side; thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line to the north-eastern end of Oban Street; thence across Oban Street at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; thence due west by a right line to the eastern shore of Lake Wakatipu; thence south-easterly, generally, along the eastern shore of Lake Wakatipu to its intersection with the prolongation of the southern side of Forbes Place; thence easterly, generally, to the western side of Bennore Place opposite the southern side of Forbes Place; thence across Bennore Place at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; thence easterly, generally, along the southern side of Forbes Place to its eastern end; thence easterly, generally, by a right line to the western side of Argyle Street opposite the prolongation of the southern side of Forbes Place; thence southerly and easterly, generally, along the western and southern sides of Argyle Street to the western side of Oban Street; thence across Oban Street at right angles from its western side to the commencing point.

Pursuant to regulation 3 (8) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974 and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Woodville County) Notice No. 1, 1985.

2. The Woodville County Council’s proposed classification of the road set out in the Schedule is approved.

3. So much of the Road Classification (Woodville County) Notice No. 1, 1982, dated the 28th day of May 1982, issued pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, which relates to the road described in the Schedule, is revoked.

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated:
