3.2 If the documentation is in order and the animals are healthy,
a permit to land will be issued subject to the following
conditions.

3.2.1 The animal must be taken to the premises named in the
permit to land and kept for 14 days. Any change of
address or any sickness or death occurring in the animal
during this period must be reported to the nearest office
of Animal Health Division of this ministry.

3.2.2 The animal must be available for inspection by an inspector
at any reasonable time during the 14 days immediately
following arrival in New Zealand.

PURSUANT to regulation 73A of the Traffic Regulations 1976, the
Secretary of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the
   Transport (Standard of Laminated Glass) Notice 1985.
   (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of December

3. Standards for laminated glass—(1) For the purposes of regu-
   lation 73A of the Traffic Regulations 1976 laminated glass in glass
   front windscreens must comply with one of the following standards:
   (a) The New Zealand Standard 325.
   (b) The Australian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 205.
   (c) The British Standard AU. 178.
   (d) The British Standard 857.
   (e) The Economic Commission for Europe regulations 43.

where the hirer does not wish to accompany such goods
provided however:

(1) Hiring shall be undertaken only through the radio-
telephone facilities of the association to which the licensee
belongs.

(2) Charges for these hireings shall be in accordance with
the scale of taxi charges as approved from time to time
by the Secretary for Transport.

(3) Goods must be carried in the closed luggage boot.

(4) Any one item of goods must not exceed 10 kilos
gross weight.

(5) Neither the licensee nor the driver, nor any other
person shall undertake any advertising or soliciting to
encourage such hireings.”
