Wanganui High School Board of Governors Notice 1985

PURSUANT to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice:

N O T I C E

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Wanganui High School Board of Governors Notice 1985.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. The Board of Governors of Wanganui High School shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Wanganui Education Board;

(b) Six members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;

(c) One member elected by the teachers of the school;

(d) One member appointed by the school’s Parent Teachers’ Association;

(e) One member co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  1. The terms of office of all existing members of the Wanganui High School Board shall cease on the 31st day of July 1985 and the term of the new Board, as constituted by clause 2 of this notice, shall commence on the 1st day of August 1985.

  2. The Wanganui High School Board of Governors Order 1958* is hereby revoked.

Waiheke Island Secondary School Board of Governors Notice 1985

PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice:

N O T I C E

  1. (i) This notice may be cited as the Waiheke Island Secondary School Board of Governors Notice 1985.

(ii) This notice shall come into force on the day of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. The constitution of the Waiheke Island Secondary School Board of Governors shall be as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;

(b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;

(c) Seven members elected by the parents of children attending the school;

(d) Two members to be co-opted by the board itself, if and when it thinks fit.

The Traffic (Ngaruawahia Borough and Waikato County) Notice
No. 1, 1985

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

N O T I C E

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ngaruawahia Borough and Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1985.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Ngaruawahia Borough and Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1984, dated the 30th day of November 1984* issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Situated within Ngaruawahia Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from Belt Street to the south-eastern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough

Huntly West Road: from the north-western boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough to a point 220 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Browne Avenue.

Old Taupiri Road: from the northern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough to a point 150 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Ngaere Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Situated within Ngaruawahia Borough and Waikato County adjacent to Ngaruawahia Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluffy): from Belt Street to the south-eastern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough.

Old Taupiri Road: from a point 150 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Ngaere Street to a point 790 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Ngaere Street.

Ada Street: from a point 250 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said street from Windsor Avenue to the south-eastern boundary of Hastings City.
