Declaring the Course of the Cam River in Rangiora County to be Altered and Diverted for the Purposes of the Christchurch Northern Motorway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 235 of the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, declare that the course of the Cam River shall be altered or diverted within the area of land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

All those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Rangiora Survey District, described as follows:

Area

32 Part Section 223, Maori Reserve 873 Kaiapoi “Rakiwhakaputa”; marked “EEE” on S.O. Plan 13783.

426 Part Te Wera Maori Reserve 873 Kaiapoi; marked “PP” on S.O. Plan 13785.

As shown marked on the plans as above mentioned, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 31st day of May 1984.

Land Taken for Road in Block II, Haparapara Survey District, Opotiki County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1981, I, the Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be taken for road and to vest in the Crown on the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 210 square metres (8.3 perches), situated in Block II, Haparapara Survey District, being part Te Kaha 43, Block; as shown coloured sepia on S.O. Plan 5933, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of June 1984.
