The Traffic (Wallace County) Notice No. 1, 1984

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Wallace County) Notice No. 1, 1973, dated the 12th day of April 1973*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Wallace County at Nightcaps:

No. 96 State Highway (Mataura-Tuatapere): from a point 40 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Opio Road to Osbourne Terrace.

Annar Street.

Carrier Street.

Dryte Street.

Evan Street.

High Street: from a point 120 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said street from Evan Street to a point 360 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said street from No. 96 State Highway (Mataura-Tuatapere).

Leithan Street.

Lyne Street.

Moffat Street.

Opio Road: from No. 96 State Highway (Mataura-Tuatapere) to a point 60 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Opio Road from the said State highway.

Osbourne Terrace: from No. 96 State Highway (Mataura-Tuatapere) to a point 300 metres measured easterly, generally, along Osbourne Terrace from the said State highway.

Fixing of Wool Board Levy 1984/85

  1. Pursuant to section 2, subsection 1 of the Wool Industry Amendment Act 1983, notice is hereby given that, from and including 1 July 1984, the rates of Wool Board levy shall be:

(a) In respect of shorn wool sold in New Zealand, 5 percent of the gross proceeds from its sale;

(b) In respect of shorn wool that has been valued under section 59 (4) of the Wool Industry Act 1977, 5 percent of the valuation;

(c) In respect of shorn wool sold for the first time outside New Zealand that has not so been valued, 5 percent of the amount by which the gross proceeds from its sale exceed the costs of its freight, marine insurance, and associated costs (other than costs of selling) to f.o.b.:

(d) In respect of slipe wool and fellmongered wool, an amount per kilogram equal to 4.8 percent of the average price per kilogram paid for greasy wool sold at all approved auctions during the calendar month 2 months prior to the month in which the levy became payable or, if there were no approved auctions during that month, during the last calendar month before it in which there was an approved auction.

  1. Paragraphs (a) to (c) above shall apply to wool on the skin as if every reference in those paragraphs—

(a) To shorn wool were a reference to wool on the skin; and

(b) To 5 percent were a reference to 2 percent.

Review of Fees Payable for the Examination of Specimens from Companion Animals at Animal Health Laboratories of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (No. 3259; Ag. 6/9/4)

It is hereby notified for public information that on and after the 1st day of July 1984, there shall be payable on the examination, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, of specimens derived from the several species of animal mentioned in the Schedule hereto, at an Animal Health Laboratory the respective fees set out in the said Schedule.
