His Excellency the Governor-General has announced that The Queen has been graciously pleased to approve the following awards of The Polar Medal for good services as members of New Zealand expeditions to Antarctica in recent years:

Allan John DAWRANT, of Invercargill. Radio Technician, 1975–76.
James Sidney RANKIN, of Kumara, Westland. Base Engineer, 1976–77.
Dr David Norman Bryant SKINNER, of Auckland. Geologist, 1977–78.
John Reuben THOMSON, of Temuka, South Canterbury. Base Engineer, 1977–78.
Kevin McIntyre WEATHERALL, of Dunedin. Science Technician, 1976–77.
Michael Roger WING, of Auckland. Driller/Field Assistant, 1975–76.

CORRIGENDUM

Notice to Make Returns of Income Under Income Tax Act 1976

In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 May 1984, No. 70, page 1446, the first line of (3)(b) should read:

“(b) 7 August 1984 in all other cases or within 2 months of balance date, whichever is the later.”

CORRIGENDUM

Maori Land Development Notice

IN the Maori Land Development notice published as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1983, No. 3, published in Gazette 30 March 1983, No. 42, page 929, in the First Schedule amend ‘Registration No. 108988’ to read ‘Registration No. 108998’.

In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 12 April 1984, No. 61, page 1181 for the licensed premises known as the Waterloo Hotel the first line should read:

Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962.

Adding Land to Tongariro National Park

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 7th day of May 1984.

Present:

THE HON. J. K. MCLAY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 7 of the National Parks Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette, be a national park subject to the National Parks Act 1980 and shall be added to and form part of the Tongariro National Park.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—TAUMARUNUI AND WAIMARINO COUNTIES
