IN the matter of The Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of NANSEN HOME, LOWER HUTT:
NOTICE is hereby given that the New Zealand Refugee Homes Board will apply to the High Court at Wellington on 20 June 1984 for an order under section 32 of The Charitable Trusts Act 1957, authorising the Board to vary its Trust Deed which governs the operation of the Nansen Home at 107 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt, in accordance with the scheme filed in the High Court.
The scheme provides for the deletion of the present clause 6 (1) of the Trust Deed which provides that any property of the Board at the date of a winding up shall be vested in CORSO Inc., subject to CORSO’s acceptance. That clause is proposed to be replaced by a new clause specifying that any such property shall be applied to charitable purposes in accordance with the directions of the High Court pursuant to section 27 of The Charitable Trusts Act 1957.
Any person desiring to oppose the scheme must give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington and to the Board and to the Solicitor-General not less than 7 clear days before 20 June 1984.
