EXPLANATORY NOTE:
This exemption notice provides for
(a) the exemption of certain goods of types not manufactured in New Zealand;
(b) the exemption of glass tableware, other than cups, saucers, plates and dishes, under the Glassware Industry Plan;
(c) the exemption under the Electronic Industry Development Plan of portable radios, other than car radios, cassette radios, mantle radios or radios incorporating miniaturised television; and
(d) amends existing exemptions to correct minor drafting errors and maintain alignment with the Customs Tariff.
