PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a vehicle testing station and shall vest in the Crown on the 3rd day of May 1984.

Land Acquired for Recreation Purposes (Pedestrian Walkway) in the Borough of Huntly

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the surface of the land described in the Schedule hereto together with the air space above the said surface and the subsoil down to a plan 15.24 metres below and approximately parallel to the surface of the said land is hereby acquired for recreation purposes (pedestrian walkway) and shall vest in The Huntly Borough Council on the 3rd day of May 1984.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, the Land Officer, New Zealand Forest Service, acting pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Forests hereby sets apart as State forest land with effect from the date of publication hereof, the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

———

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a Public Utility Reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Silverpeaks County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserve account such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—SILVERPEAKS COUNTY

Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society Inc. to control and manage the Popotunoa Hill Scenic Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto.
