Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 September 1983, No. 150, page 3074 for the description. “Part of Tunapahore 4B as created by partition order of the Maori Land Court dated 14 July 1967” which appears in the Schedule, read “That part of the larger severance of Tunapahore 4B on the North Western side of State Highway 35 and being part certificate of title 2B/518, Gisborne Registry”.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army.

REGULAR FORCE

ROYAL REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY

Major D. G. M. Lough to be temp. Lieutenant Colonel with effect from 1 April 1984.

Major D. K. Bowler is re-engaged until 17 March 1994.

ROYAL N.Z. ARMOURED CORPS

Major G. R. Ready is re-engaged until 25 June 1992.

Captain M. S. Brown-Thomas, B.A.(MIL.), is re-engaged until 4 January 1993.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) and Quartermaster N. C. Jamieson is transferred to the Supernumerary List with effect from 23 December 1983.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) J. F. A. Dowrick is re-engaged until 13 January 1996.

Lieutenant and Quartermaster D. T. A. Morrow is re-engaged until 5 December 1988.

Lieutenant and Quartermaster David Seton Harrison is posted to the Retired List with effect from 10 March 1984.
